Visited the pub yesterday after the marathon - so it was fairly busy. My boyfriend paid for a round using his card, and the barman took his card away for over five minutes, taking it completely out of sight. When he returned, we questioned him about why he took the card away and out of sight for so long, not great to do that in an age of fraud and card security.
All seemed ok, but then the manager came outside, and told us to leave the pub for questioning the trust of his staff. Very agressive, rude and unfriendly. Won't be visiting again, and advise paying by cash if you do visit.
