O'Neills, Soho

My wife and I went to go into this pub one evening after being to the theatre. We both run a pub each for Fuller's so I like to think we have a rough Idea of customer care. When we got to the door there was two doormen, we asked them how they were before trying to go in but got stopped in are tracks by one of the guys. He asked if I was ok to which I replied"fine why", he said I had staggered whilst coming across the road (I'd had a 330ml bottle of magners at the theatre and am Irish so can handle a little more than that). I was stuck for words as he become very aggresive towards me, my wife went to explain we had just left the theatre but I took her away from the place. I looked around and was told to piss off. Being Irish myself I feel ashamed this is an Irish pub if thats what the staff are like, there's no need for this sort of behaviour within the industry and if the manager ever reads these "Have a good think about who your employing", doormen should remember their ambassador's for the pubs they work...avoid this place like the plague, go to Waxy's it's very friendly and professional.
