The Wenlock Arms, Hoxton
Wonderful! Fantastic choice of ale, comfy and cosy, a great mix of folk, old and young (a couple of very old dears were in on the Friday night that we went) and the salt beef sandwich was legend. We weren't hurried out at the end of the night, and we pronounced it to be the best pub in the world. Admittedly, we had sampled admirably. But even in the cold light of day, I'm not sure I know of a better pub.
