The Rambler Country House, Edale

My family and I are on Holiday in Edale and had the misfortune to try this place for Sunday lunch on our first full day. I have two teenage children and an 18 month old baby. This is simply one of the worst pubs I have ever been in to. We went for Sunday lunch today. The tables where sticky and dirty. The staff delivered the wrong meals and could not understand english to a reasonable level. When the food did turn up it did all turn up at the same time. When I asked where my dinner was, the fish pie with Smash rather than potato, I was told they could only fit one in the microwave at the same time! After having already placed a � 52 order I was refused a glass of tap water ! I asked if they had a tap and an empty glass and maybe I could do it. They just refused to serve it after being asked three times. I asked the manager and she refused as well.

If you are looking for a good pub for a nice meal do not go here.
