Something positive - the beer was good, the problem was that the food was dreadful. I have to agree with flossieteacake that this was the worst pub that I have eaten at in the last 20 years. The soup was lukewarm, microwaved, and tasted as though it was out of a can, the duck terrine tasted more like turkey. The main course of beef and red wine pie was worse, completely tasteless, very little meat in the pie, it was mostly gravy, which was served with something that tasted very like smash. This was from the �12.95 special menu, but this is no excuse for such poor quality food.
DO NOT BOTHER EATING HERE !!!!!! go somewhere else in the village.
