Swan Hotel, Radcot

Just had Sunday lunch here 2 hours ago,celebrating my elderly friends birthday - food abysmal. I chose roast pork, it was cut into lumps not sliced and was very tough and fatty and I could not eat it, there was an over powering smell. Swede was brown, therefore not fresh and carrots had no taste, gravy was like water. The sweet wasn't any better I chose apple crumble with custard. The apple puree (tinned I am sure) was smeared thinly across a large plate with a white crumble mix on top, I don't think it had seen an oven, isn't crumble supposed to be golden - and for �4.95 it was a joke.
My friend said her lamb was O.K. but we shared the vegetables which were not appetising at all. I paid the bill but complained to them afterwards whilst my friend was in the ladies room, I didn't want to embarrass her. If I had been alone they wouldn't have got anything. Birthday treat spoilt !!!!
