The Heron, Leigh Park

I have been drinking in the Heron for 3 years now and have seen a hell of alot of managers come and go. I think the only manager that came close to being as good as Mags is now was Dave, i only relised something on the last day, made me laugh, anyway insted of picking holes in the heron actually come down experince different days there. I don't drink no where else thats for sure and i dont think you could get a friendlier staff team.

Despite the fears which arose following Fuller's purchase of Gales, these fears have proven unfounded. Yes, you can now purchase London Pride alonside HSB, but the pub has retained all the character and charm it has enjoyed for more than my lifetime - 21 years

The Parchment Makers, Havant

Another generic, soul-less Wetherspoons. The main clientele seems to be of the under-25 Burberry-wearing lager-loutish kind. The food has recently been close to inedible, my medium steak appeared to have been left under the grill for about 20 minutes too long. No atmosphere, meaning that I come in here solely for the real ales, which I must say are still the best range in Havant
