The Coach and Horses, Barnes

I was barman here in 2002. Amazing place. We kept the tv off unless for cricket or F1, even then no sound. No music. The locals are amazing. It's like stepping back in time. There's a fishmonger, cheesemaker, poet (Love and miss you Andy), and a quality slelection of film producers,musicians, artists, antique shop owners, and everything in between. the landlady at the time is dear to us. She was a goddess. The best part of the experience was having my pic taken with Sir John Young behind the bar, both of us holding pints. A true gent. He told me the coach was his favourite of all his establishments.
Enjoy the calm class this pub affords. It's rare.
