The Hatch Inn, Hatch

Living near this pub, we often visit because of the excellence of the ales on offer. It is true that the quality of the food has been somewhat up and down since the new people took over at the end of last year largely due to staffing problems. However, they now seem to have the problems licked (excuse the pun) with the excellent Clyde in the kitchen. Good quality food, well cooked and well presented. Our kitchen has been out of commission for about 5 weeks and we have had many meals there in that time and not one bad one! So whilst accepting there have been a few teething problems, I think the place is well worth a second chance, particularly if you like well kept ale.
