peter and jane the landlord's are as friendly as you'd ever want from your local, the bar staff are friendly too, the food is great I had a full english there the other day and couldn't finish it, it was so big (and I'm a fat git).
really good place to be it's now gonna be my new local.:)

The Nelson Arms, South Wimbledon/Colliers Wood

had an excellent atmosphere and bar staff before it closed recently for refurbishments, thursdays were legendary with the open mic nights, good luck to craig and ursula in the future the best f*****g landlady on earth. hope the new owners keep the open mic night when it re-opens next week or so. promises to be good for watching the world cup with extra large screens and cool decor. good luck guys.

Marquis of Lorne, Wimbledon

chav pub now, stay clear unless you like getting into fights with spotty 17yr olds e'd up. also i think it's ran by gypo's who don't have a clue about owning a pub, the record to date is 4 police cars, 2 police vans and an ambulance. yeehaaa don't ya love street entertainment......
