The Kings Arms, Waterloo

Absolutely fantastic pub with great beer and quirky decor. HOWEVER, we had a very unpleasant experience with the waitress in the food area at the back. Having sat down, we were told that the area had priority for diners (fair enough) but when we asked to order food we were told there was a minimum spend of £6.95 (not that we'd have been ordering less than that anyway) and that we'd only be allowed to sit there for 90 minutes. I am assuming the food operation is quite separate from the pub operation, but the landlord should take heed or risk this kind of service dragging down the reputation of an otherwise excellent pub.
