Jubilee Inn, Pelynt

Stayed in the area and paid this place a visit, very busy place with locals and visitors. Fantastic beer from St Austell breweries and kept really well. I'd recommend the black prince to try..
Food - had a bar meal and evening meal, both were well presented, the bar meal being a ploughmans had fresh veg and salad (better than other places i've been to) and the evening meal was a steak pie. thought this was the best pie i'd ever tasted - loads of meat and well cooked veg. almost couldn't eat it but forced myself.
Prices -pretty normal for any pub and exactly what i would expect to pay so no surprise.
Decor - you really get a village feel , having a slate floor, open fire and good atmosphere.
I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone passing, for a small village it's a bit of a gem
