The Durham Hotel, Scarborough

We call this place 'the dirty durham.' Last time we visited was june 2006 and they still had valentine decorations up... bar staff very friendly and not bad ale. but on this occasion an univited man sat down next to us and asked us where we were from. When we said Bradford he continued to lecture us for 30mins about how much he hated asians and what he would do to them if he came to bradford. Then i went for a piss and came back to discover he had necked my pint... Not wanting to start any trouble, and quite relieved that having no beer left was a good excuse to make our escape.. we left

The Fighting Cock, Bradford

avoid the prostitutes outside (its in bradfords red light district) but still well worth a visit for the massive selection of real ales on offer for which its won awards in the past.

The Langstrath Country Inn, Stonethwaite

If you have never visited this pub, then you must.. simply because the location is so nice. The beer is ok, the food is average, you would NEVER come across this pub unless you were looking for it or came across it by accident whilst on walk... in which case...Enjoy
