Crown Inn, Westcott

Went on the off chance on Monday 29th December for a walk and then some pub grub. There were 11 of us including 5 children. On return to pub after walk were welcomed in. Good draught beer (including Tribute). Landlord sat down with us and went through what was on offer, and I have to say one of the best menus I have come across for a while. The children were catered for with a variety of fish/sausage and chips, with the adults having game pudding,fantastic ham,eggs and chips, excellent lamb curry and ale pie. Afterwards the children were allowed to go and see the three large dogs out in the back, giving the grown-ups some time on their own.
I cannot recommend the Crown enough for the friendliness, service and the plentiful, tasty food. Please give the place a try, you will be well rewarded!
