The Prince of Wales, Caversham

Just moved to Caversham and really wanted to see Wales play England on Saturday. We were directed here by staff at Wetherspoons, and I'm really glad we were.

We were there with our 2 young kids, and were made to feel very welcome, with games and drawing stuff brought out by the staff/owners to keep the kids entertained during the match. The garden is also great for kids to play while you eat some of the best Thai food I've had since actually being there a few years ago.

Being Welsh, I was unable to keep quiet during the match, and the locals (all decked out in shaved heads and England tops) took it well. Not sure I'm ready to go there wearing my Wales top yet, but I'll work on it.

I'll rate this place highly as it's got everything I need, whilst still being a real pub, with real people in it, if you know what I mean.
