The Kings Arms, Epsom

What a find in Epsom! To be honest, when we walked up to the pub I thought it would just be an average boozer... To our suprise as we opened the door, we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. There were candles lit with the lights dimmed and a log fire burning in the front bar, the atmosphere was fantastic!

We had a couple of drinks at the bar with some friendly banter with a south African fella that served us. This is an unpretentious pub with great staff, very relaxed yet attentive to all your needs. We were so impressed that we asked if they had room for us in the restaurant...

The menu looked amazing, catering for all your needs, starters, fish, steaks and a vegetarian option. I had the beef roast and my partner the salmon supreme, our meal was fabulous! Home cooked! Definitely not your average pub grub.

Had a chat to the manager, they part of the butcher & barrel group and has been under new management since October. You can definitely see it!!! What a well run pub that gives great value. Highly reccomended
