The Old Mill, Plumstead

Don't be fooled by its ramshackle exterior, this is the best pub in the area and, moreover, one of the best I've ever had the pleasure to call my local.

A superb, constantly changing selection of ales, a friendly landlord, a pool table and a pub garden. What more could you want?

The Cock and Bull, St Peter Port

Happened upon this lovely little boozer on the way to Victor Hugo's house which, incidentally, is mere minutes away. So, if you fancy mixing a bit of cultcha with a 5-strong selection of well-kept ales - as well as a chat with the very affable landlord and bar staff - then you really can't go far wrong.
