The Adelphi, Leeds

as a mature student new to leeds a few friends recomended this lovely little gem to me,def on of my all time fave pubs. yes it is expensive, but that to me is a good thing. I would rather pay over the odd for a well maintained erdinger in a fantastic setting just to get away from the ar*eh*le students in the main area of town. A city tresure and may it stay this way for years

maybe those people who wish to complain about the bar staff should get there facts straight beforehand. Ellie the manager in question play cards has worked WITHOUT a day of since september and won't do till april. Why? Because out of the kindness of her own heart she is covering the Manageress maternity leave single handed. And on the comment about sullen barstaff maybe its becauces they get "uptight more money than sense C*NTS" like the LionelR coming to the bar. Barstaff should be treated ahundred times better in all pubs and bar were ever they are, they are not the lowest form of pond scum, like they are treated. Maybe next time someone reads and are waiting to be served at a busy bar, they will remember that the staff member your hurling abuse at is overworked underpayed, trying to survive and most importantly a HUMAN F*CKING BEING.
