The Kings Head, Holmbury St Mary

on entering the pub i was unsure due to the lack of atmosphere , possible caused by the lack of heating- one open (nice) fire but nothing else, yet the barman that i later learnt was one of the owners not a back packer - SHORTS and multi coloured cat skirt in January. Whilst he was welcoming it took time to get served which myself and three friends found strange as the pub was quite.
The food was not home made but brake brothers and tasted fine but not what we had expected. We will not hurry back it is a shame could be a lovely pub .
