The Robin Hood, Stretford

Visited the Robin Hood on Friday lunchtime after reading that the pub had been taken over by three local guys who were committed to offering an improved menu. The food was excellent (all home cooked, large portions and very tasty). The decor has been toned down from its previous incarnation, thank goodness. I hope that more people support what these guys are trying to do. As someone else has said here, Stretford is in dire need of a half decent pub. Well worth a visit for the food alone! Pubs with great food give punters a real alternative to staying at home with cheaper off-licence booze (e.g. The Horse & Jockey - Chorlton) Good luck!
