I completely agree with the comment below, this pub has not character or atmosphere. Its just another fullers carbon copy. The quiz does nothing a pub quiz should, its boring. I wouldn't avoid this pub, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there either.

The Fox, Hanwell

Great little local pub near the canal, beautiful during the summer and cosy in the winter. A propper community pub, especially enjoyable this christmas. Food has always tasted great and the waiting service has significantly improved in recent months. The proof is that most, if not all tables are reserved every Sunday, book early to avoid dissappointment! Also a great range of food avaliable during the week. Most of the bar staff are very friendly and professional, they really add to the character of this pub, though watch out for the grumpy bald one!
I'm not an ale drinker but they always have a good range on which my husband appreciates! There is also a great range of wines.
It has two lovely pub dogs, the most placid animals on the planet. I'm not a local but am more than happy to travel the distance. Easily deserves its recent award. Well done!
