The Curtain's Up, West Kensington

Absolutley brilliant boozer. I have been drinking in this pub regularly for over 20 years and think its strange to read some of the negative comments about the Curtains. The Curtains Up is its most recent name (once the Barons Ale House). Ask any regular visitor to this lovely little pub and they will all tell you that this place had a pretty rough history, trouble was common place not so many moons ago. Over the last couple of years the place is unrecognisable. The most recent manager 'Chris' has cleared out what was left of the bad elements and whats left is a pub with rarely any problems and a great atmosphere. The main custom is older blokes like me who enjoy a quiet pint, students and more recently the younger professionals in the area. The new manager had some teething troubles to start with but it was his first pub so go easy. He is a great young guy who talks to us all and has made the pub a better place to drink in. The pub also just won an award for most reccomended pub in north fulham so that should silence any naysayers. Definitley the best pub in the area by far for a great night with good beer. Staff are all tops too.
