The Lord Poulett Arms, Hinton St George

Stayed here for a couple of nights in December & loved it, the food is to die for.
It was lovely & cosy despite the snow with 3 real fires & plenty of antiques & nooks & crannies etc.
I think there were 3 real ales on & they also seemed to have a great selection of bottled beers.
All in all a superb pub.
N.B We really enjoyed the Halfway house also (although completley different).

The Halfway House, Pitney

Was recommended to eat here while staying at The Lord Poulett & loved it, very different to The Lord P but just as good in its own way.
Beer is definatley the priority here & the atmosphere is great, the food is inexpensive & really rather good.
I'll certainly try it again when I'm in the area.
