Sankey's, Tunbridge Wells

Nice place,

Different crowd during lunchtime and evenings, lunchtime being the more mature professional workers and the latter being the younger professionals [they all seem to be public schoolboys/girls for some odd reason] who are just chilling out with their friends at the end of the working day, both the staff and regulars are nice people to chat to.

Excellent range of beers on tap [I think possibly the best in Tunbridge Wells] and a very diverse range of wines they have as well.

It's a shame they don't show the rugby as that use to be one of the main reasons why people went there.

The food is usually good but it does depend on the chef working there at the time. [they have two chefs i've been told]

Definitely one of the places to drink if you're in the local area along with the Ragged Trousers in the Pantiles!!! [which wasn't featured here, so i'll give it a mention in this review]

TN4, Tunbridge Wells

I was there last week, and frankly I was a bit disappointed, the previous comments that TN4 was a good bar is correct (6 months ago!) but now it has just gone a bit down market, where did all the so called "professionals" dissapear to then? all i saw were "P & P" people and we all know how bad that bar has got! The young barmen has really got to refine his people skills to the rest of us "non-regular" customers, and not just show off in front of the rest of the staff and regulars. Also, please, please, please stop changing the music half way through a song, we all felt like we were playing musical chairs!
