From the outlook this pub dodesn't look anything special, however once inside there are so many places you can plonk your botts, it's hard to choose an area. We were surprised by the amount of drinks choice and took a while to decide upon a tipple. The bar staff were, however, patient and even talked us through what was on offer and what they would go for. Made the visit pleasureable and we will definitely be going back.

Was excited enough to be beside the river on Boatrace Day. The weather was changeable yet dry enough to stand outside among a sea of blazors and flat caps.
The Boathouse had gone to a lot of trouble for this day and I think it paid off. Had the most delicious burger I 've tasted in ages and by having the additional outside bars we were served quite quickly.
Obviously for ales you had to go indoors, if you dared, as people were wedged in and probably gasping for air. I did not however venture thus far, and remained in fresh aired bliss. The bands were truely fantastic and we could watch from outside and all in all, the team put on a good day, only negative being far too many people, which signifies what a hit it was!

The Ship Inn, Wandsworth
One of my favourite South West boozers. A decent pint of real ale, now stocking Sambrook's, a local ale. The staff are happy to explain about the ales and I am always interested to learn more. Was able to sample before I bought, and then sat down to a perfect London Gold Battered Cod, I have no complaints.
