The Dolphin, Betchworth

I have been going to the Dolphin for 20 years once a week with occassional periods away. It is a good pub, and the beer has always been good. The prices are on the high side and as a veggie the food does not attract but the worst thing is the tolilets have not ever been decorated since I have been going there, still I live in hope.

The Old Bell, Old Oxted

I would have agreed about the unhappy staff until I met the new manager this evening, she was very pleasent and the whole atmosphere in the pub had changed. The beer was very good but I can't comment on the food as I did not eat there. We even got served at our table with drinks, a nice evening out. The Beer in the Evening site must be working if the change is this immediate, well done.
