What can I say? Oldest Inn in Skye, friendly, rustic, roaring fire, excellent food and serving ales from Skye's own brewery...

If you're lucky enough to be there when they're serving Blaven, there's probably nowhere better.

Going to Skye? Like Ale? Then you have to go to the Stein Inn. Simple.

The Bow Bar, Edinburgh

Great pub, situated in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town.

Good range of guest ales, great range of whiskies.

Good, wholesome, simple bar food, all reasonably priced and designed not to get in the way of the important ale drinking.

Thoroughly recommended
