Kings, Leicester

Now reopened after being bought by Black Country Ales and refurbished. Three BCA beers on plus about five guests. Hugh fireplace with log fire. Very comfortable pub selling proper ale with a very friendly landlord and landlady. It'll be giving the other real ales pubs in town a run for their money. All good for the real ale consumer !

The Pub, Leicester

You can't fault The Pub for the range of beer that it has on offer. Nice location on New Walk and very pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by. Deserves to succeed.

The New Plough Inn, Hinckley

Popped in here at Easter as they had a beer festival on. A very good pub with welcoming staff. Hinckley is a bit of an ale desert unless you drink Marstons and it was great to see a pub putting on some different beers from local breweries.
