The Springhead, Sutton Poyntz

We went to the Springhead for a meal with family who were visiting from New Zealand there were 22 of us but as the pub says they can cater for weddings we were assured this would not be a problem. All the adults ordered carvery and the 4 kids ordered off the child's menu. The carvery was ok but had been out for at least thirty minutes before the pub started to fill up....mainly with our party. After all the adults had finished their carvery the children got their meals and that was after we had told them twice that they were still waiting!!!! And when they did eventually bring the meals for the kids they were wrong ! We asked for the kids meals to be taken off the bill as a) they had to wait 40 mins and b) because they were wrong but we were told they couldn't do that - apparently it was our fault that the kids meals were missed as they had so many tabs for the table - funny how they managed the rest of the pub! WOULD WE EAT HERE AGAIN? DEFINITELY NOT AND NEITHER WOULD WE RECOMMEND IT - all locals from Weymouth bar visiting family!! The Manager hid when we asked to complain directly to him.
