The Boldmere Oak, Boldmere

I popped in at lunch time a couple of weeks ago (November 2012) and had an excellent meal. It was a Chicken Balti pie with chips and peas. It was just what I wanted, there was a big choice on offer and I could have had steaks, burgers etc or gone for something more exotic like Paella. All were very competitivly priced. The beer was good I had Marstons Pedigree always a favourite of mine. The Landlord was friendly, and the chef came round to see if all was OK which it was.

I could not fault it, good value, fine food and plesant surroundings.
