The Anglers Rest, Millers Dale

I first went to The Anglers Rest at Millers Dale over last New Year, along with some friends. We all found the owners and staff very friendly and welcoming.
The real ales are changed on a regular basis, and the food is some of the best that we have found in many pubs, up and down the country.
We have returned on 3 occaisions and still have not found this unfriendliness that some have commented on.
The Games room, is just that, and not only walker friendly but also dog friendly.
I certainly would not walk in my home wearing muddy boots, so why then walk into a pub with them. Manners cost nothing.
The outside of the Pub is very nice and the car park clean and tidy, with a fantastic Trout river along one side.
