The Alexandra, Wimbledon

Potentially a very good pub (which I have used intermittently for many years), it is spoiled for me by sullen and unprofessional staff. I don't think it is asking too much of bar-staff to a) notice a customer, and b) serve that customer within a reasonable time. Pubs that do not put their customers first and that employ useless barstaff are on the road to oblivion. Perhaps there is a plus side: today the "reluctant" barman caused me to limit my lunchtime pints of Ordinary to one...
