The Old Mill, Plumstead

I love the Old Mill for it's no frills appeal and it is what a local pub should be, great beers, friendly landlord and lovely local people.

Sleepers, Huddersfield

I have been wanting to write this for a while but haven't had the time, so here we go, this place is indeed a little gem. A great selection of beers (some unusual ones bottled beers from Belgium and Germany) and a fantastic wine menu. It's off the beaten track, relaxing and I found the the service is prompt without been intrusive. If you can get a sofa, it's the best way to enjoy this little cosy bar. I know they have a jazz night here, so I think I will have to give that go. Well done to all the staff at Sleepers, Bravo!
