AVOID...Well we have just come back from what started as a good night with a hope of good food ... The food was average apart from the steak -that was very poor, over cooked first time then raw the second attempt. But in defence the steak was so thin it would be hard to cook to order.. The landlady told us she would take one meal off the bill
Some of our party left before we got the bill - when the rest of us left she (the landlady) stated that the party that left early said to add the steak meal back on the bill

This was a lie and later admitted by the land lady .I WOULD NOT recommend this pub
I don't like being lied too

Village pub has now been tainted and not to be trusted AVOID
