The Woodman, Wimbledon Park

Awful, just awful. Been in a few times since the refurb as its the closest pub to my house, I thought the pub was bad before.... Now it's simply terrible. The staff are rude and don't have a clue what their doing and as for the management, well, I work in management myself and these people would be out the door if it were up to me.
The first time I went in after the refurb I was treated by the landlord threatening to knock out one of the customers because he had a dog with him, outside I might add!
I then thought I'd play some pool. After making my way through the unfriendly football yobs that seem to always be hovering at the bar making it impossible for you to get a drink I put my money in the pool table and nothing happened? So I asked at the bar and was told oh that happens a lot but there is nothing we can do... Ummm, maybe put a sign up to warn people? Or get it fixed?

Now onto the food, yeah it's cheap and looks great when you get a steak on a skillet BUT thismisnall for show to detract from the fact that you're getting very poor quality food. My steak was burnt beyond belief and also the wrong cut, when I asked for it to be changed I was told they only had rump in stock.. Again why not tell your customers this first?

In a nutshell this pub has tried to rebrand itself as a Harvester type of venue, but until the thuggish management and locals are sent packing its just another rough London pub best avoided.
