Had a very disapointing time here - we were clamped whilst parking out the back in the pub 'car park' and it cost us �120 to be released. In our opinion there is no legal parking in the pub car park.

We ate at this pub a couple of weeks ago - the night before the smoking ban, and if the ban had not come into place the following day we would not return as the pub had insufficient facilities to cope with the copius amounts of smoke! Our clothes absoloutely reaked.
The food, in our opinion, was over priced as essentially we were sitting, eating in a pub and nothing more. To our shock we also noted how they increased the price of one of the dishes on the blackboard by �2.00 at 9.30 in the evening. No excuses, you cannot do that midway through the night.
I felt like telling the people who had just arrived to ask for the price of 30 minutes earlier if that was the dish they wanted.
All the puddings were a rounded off figure at �5.00 which we felt was incredibly overpriced - so generally - too expensive. But its sister pub nearby, worth it as it appears to be more of a restaurant than a pub.
