The Ivy, Heddington

We`re only ever down from Manchester to this neck of the woods once or twice a year, but when we are - we always make for The Ivy.

I fell for it the first moment I entered. The unspoiled, unpretentious, rustic, gorgeousness and friendliness are like a perfect parallel universe - but you`ll have to go there to grok the fullness.

Then there`s the food. Don`t be fooled by the reasonable prices and think that your portion will be small - they are generous, hearty and delicious.

Vegetarians - fed up with eating vegetable bloody lasagne and other boring goo in pubs? Then get yourself down to The Ivy for mucho pleasure.

If you live nearbyish and you`re not a regular - Where`s your ****ing head at ?!?
