The Wheatsheaf, Fitzrovia

Most of the pubs in Fitzrovia seem to have lost their character and be full of braying idiots. But the Wheatsheaf still has character, is rarely too crowded, and seems to have a pleasant clientele. Friendly staff too.

The Prince Of Wales, Southwark

Very friendly and well-run pub. The food is excellent and cheap, with large portions. The horse racing is usually on the television, which adds to its charm.

The Park, West Norwood

The best pub in the area. Very friendly staff, good food, comfortable seating, and a deck out the back. It seems to combine the best of a modern and an old-fashioned pub.
