THE FALCON INN, HINSTOCK

The residents of Hinstock are lucky to have such a great pub on their doorsteps.
Great food and excellent beers & wines are served by enthusiastic staff in a friendly and comfortable environment.
I would (and do) recommend a visit for anyone hoping to enjoy a sociable drink and/or a bite to eat.

The Ferry Tavern, Penketh

I've been going to The Ferry Tavern for a few years now when we visit friends who live nearby. I always look forward to a great pint and am never disappointed - especially at the annual Beer Festival!
I'll be back soon for something to soak up the cheese & biscuits! Keep up the good work.

The Bull's Head, Craswall

Six of us checked that there was no need to book a table (and this was confirmed on a sign by the gate) before venturing to The Bull's Head for lunch at 2pm this afternoon. The place looked great but we were disappointed to overhear, and I'm sure it was said for our benefit, that, having just turned up without booking, we were "...a pain in the arse." I suggest they make their bloody minds up! A disappointing end to an otherwise great weekend in the area.
