The Green Dragon, Croydon

Great pub with a wonderful selection of Beers. A delicious array of food in a well put together menu which really has something for everyone. Weekends are lively with a vibrant atmosphere. Staff are welcoming and happy to serve. I must say that the staff do a great job especially when having to deal with some difficult characters. One occasion I was in the Green Dragon a man of Eastern European appearance came in and joined a group of local lads not really sure if they actually knew him because they seem to struggle to understand what he was shouting at them, all we could make out was the word "obviouusly". The group seem to ignore him but this just irritated him more, he then started to eat the plants on the table. The group were not amused and reacted angrily to him. The poor foreign lad then got upset and stormed out the pub crying. The group of lads found this extremely funny but I felt sorry for him.
I just like to add this was an isolated incident and I rarely see this sort of behaviour in the Green Dragon
