This pub's real ale is consistently and unspeakably bad. (Abbot and Courage Best). How the landlord can keep serving up acetified, oxidised, stale, and over-warm beers which are routinely rejected by discerning drinkers is amazing.
If you're at Sadlers Wells and need a pint, go to the Harlequin just a few metres further down the street.

Excellent pub by Central London/rail terminus standards, and well worth a visit.
Can't comment on the food - haven't ever eaten there - but can compliment the cellar staff for maintaining a superb range of Fullers and micro-brewed beers at (by Euston standards) modest prices.
Have popped in roughly once a week over the last couple of months, and in addition to the reliable beer, have noticed that after a few visits the staff begin to recognise you. (Most of them have been around since before Fullers bought the place which is encouraging).
The only drawback I can think of is the two-flight journey down to the gents loo...but most of us could do with a bit of exercise couldn't we?

Cliquey, creepy, and weird. Went in with my wife for a lunchtime pint, and we were so effectively blanked by the two bar staff that it was as if we didn't exist.
Don't like being looked through, so left without ordering. Won't bother again.
