The Dog and Gun, High Malsis

This used to be a great pub for good beer, great food and excellent service, tho something seems to have changed.

The food and service have been poor on the last three occasions we have visited. I don't know whether there has been a change in management or something, but it is certainly not what it once was.

Nice pub with good beer and welcoming staff. Well worth a visit.

The Crumplehorn Inn, Polperro

We were on holiday in Polperro and called in the Crumplehorn on most days for a beer or two. The pub has a beer garden which we made good use of. Either siting under the trees next to the river or under the patio heaters if the evening became chilly.

The real ales are exceptional - best pint of Cornish Cream I've tasted. Their food is good too - just try the fish & chips.

The landlord and staff are pleasant and always served us with a friendly smile.

Can't wait to go back.
