Not for me. It was good but not any more. The beer is always past its best. I don't know if it's because the number of different ales is too many and they take too long to sell or it is just not looked after well enough but if you see a guest beer in here that you have already tried before somewhere else, it will not taste as good as it did somewhere else.

Nice interior but there were too many tables with cutlery on and menu cards lying flat on the table. It looked like they had been set up to await scoffers and to deter the beer only customer. I asked a member of staff if there were any tables I could sit at and was told I could sit anywhere or there were other tables outside. I still felt I would be taking up scoffer space if I sat in the pub, my preferred choice, so I went outside. I drank a seasonal beer, Fuller's Southern Star. It was reasonable but at £4.30 for a pint, not good value.

Popped in for a meal but the beer was poor so I didn't bother ordering. I'd already taken one beer back, tried a sample of another but that was no good either, tried a sample of a third Thornbridge Jaipur which seemed OK at first so I had a pint but later realised it was not good at all, left half of it and left the pub. It's in the good beer guide for some reason which means good beer all the time and not just when they know the local CAMRA are visiting.
