Red Lion, Ealing

Wow didn't know Ealing was so full of cheapskates......Quality is always worth paying for......and the beer here is superb, evidenced by the successive Camra awards won by The Red Lion over the last decade or so.......home cooked food is superb and with generous portions........as for the wines, prices seem to be the same as The Wheatsheaf and The New Inn......some people are never satisfied I'd choose this idiosyncratic family run pub over the others any time!

The Rose and Crown, Ealing

I don't like this pub........micro waved food and typical Fuller's managed house with no soul..........and a pathetic attempt to convince us that the ale is good with a blackboard informing us when the ale was racked and who did it..............what a joke when the ale tastes mediocre anyway...........I'd sooner pay a few pence more and choose from the 5 ales available up the road @ The Red Lion.....A Real Pub for Real People.
