The Springhead, Sutton Poyntz

I can understand the previous posting: �The lady serving was rather offhand, almost verging on unpleasant, as if we were in her way.� I too experienced this Fawltyesque approach, but found it rather charming once warmed to. Despite the low numbers of customers, the service was tardy, but the food on the whole was worth waiting for. It�s not the Maze or the Waterside, but then it�s not 5 star prices. Great value for money and a good (not too extensive) menu. Just think of the service as quirky rather than rude and enjoy.
