The Royal Standard of England, Beaconsfield

An hours wait for food on Sunday, great Leffe on tap. Venison was good. My friend had lamb which looked better. We both wished we had ordered belly of pork when we saw that delivered to the next table! Great selection of wines, service was good but slow due to the volume of people. Friendly atmosphere. Walking distance of home, nice!

The Prince of Wales, Weybridge

A great traditional local pub, friendly mix of older drinkers from all spectrums. Wednesday night is poker night, Thursday is live music and Friday and Saturday are naturally busy. The landlord is very keen on sports and will always have the matches on. The London Pride on tap is very good, Kroenenberg and Perroni too. Cocktails are limited. A decent selection of wine available (Red or White) and a cosy restaurant area. There is an interesting bar menu available also. Great Sunday lunch. Lots of Pub days, shooting, golfing, cricket, rugby trips. If you haven't tried this pub you really should. And don't worry about Brian he really isn't as moody as he looks.
