The Weld Arms, East Lulworth

Took my elderly parents here for a drink and were made to feel like we were a bloody nuisance. Wherever you go you're in the way of staff scurrying to and fro with mounds of full or empty plates. Yet another example of a decent locals' pub turned into a 'Nice Peoples' eaterie that treats you like a leper if you have the temerity to merely order a drink.

Couldn't agree more, Jasper. Methinks the landlady only employs staff who are uglier, scruffier and fatter than she is to make herself look good. The place is filthy, especially the toilets. Good bands to be seen here, otherwise don't bother. Dodgy clientele and even dodgier beer!
