The Bicton Inn, Exmouth

A great local boozer with friedly types from all walks of life. The cellar is one of the best kept in the area with Branscombe Brewery cask ales being the mainstay beers regularly supplemented by guest ales. I always frequent the Bicton when I visit Exmouth from my native S Yorkshire. True praise indeed for a Yorkshire Tyke to compliment Southern Beer. Monday and Friday evenings finds Terry behind the bar. She has all the attributes of the finest calibre barmaids and a memory like an elephant. No matter how long between visits I always get a "pint of the usual" and a warm greeting. The only thing dodgy about anyone I ever met in there was a few older types who are a bit dodgy on their pins.......... with or without a pint! Oh! and the Guv'nor WINK!
