The Masons Arms, Warminster

`as promised I thought I would let you know what beers the Landlord, Richard, had on. The one that I drank was Amarillo by the brewery in Frome. Quite delicious and really well kept. It is a joy when beer is kept that well. I am also happy to say that the steak was incredible. One daughter and I had 8oz Rumps that were soooooo tender and full of flavour. My wife and my other daughter had fish and chicken pie respectively. Please fast before going to the pub for supper.

The Angel Inn, Upton Scudamore

Now even more like a restaurant. Has lost the pub feel and is cramming them in. Sent friends there with glowing reviews. They reported back that we had obviously lost our marbles. NOT PUB restaurant now. EWe went to check it out and came away saddened. Food good but atmosphere not the same - sad.

The Organ Inn, Warminster

What a delight this pub is. It is just rightas far as the beer goes. The landlord is a young chap with a yen to make Warminster a great little place and he is involved in the town in all sorts of ways. The beer is great the only food he really can do is cold as he is not allowed ovens etc by the listing types. He has a skittle alley at the back and he will let you bring your own food. This place is perfect - no horrid kids or awful music. Just great beer and games like bar billiards and shove halfpenny. PLEASE visit it so it keeps in business!
