The Harrow Inn, Warlingham

As our local I am sorry to say that I agree with the other reviews recently posted. We are not frequent visitors to The Harrow but after our last experience we will probably not go back again. Food was stone cold (still on the cold plates - yes, there's no excuse for this) and arrived with the wrong sauce. As mentioned before the manageress was little help as the pub was busy so she didn't care. She is a relief manager but still no excuse for not sorting this out.
Very poor food and not cheap either. Only saving grace was a decent pint of Sharp's Doom Bar.

The Windsor Castle, Carshalton

This is a great pub for cracking live bands on a Saturday night. The landlady is very fussy about who she has on so music is decent quality. The last band I saw there were called Inside Edge and they were great. Friendly crowd on music nights and a good range of well kept real ales. A good atmosphere if you fancy something other than the usual kakaoke dross.

The Nightingale, Sutton

A great place for a drink on Sunday afternoon. Friendly landlady and nice roast dinner at a reasonable price. Well kept range of ales. They had a great live band on (Inside Edge). The place was packed and everyone was having a good time - a very pleasant change from the usual dull pub atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
